I just want to be sure on my HCV setup. I had the motor and cooling lines all out of the car a few years back.

The heater control valve should be on the coolent line coming from "What" to or from the heater core? And which end of the valve goes which way?

The one on my car now is new and I replaced it (where it was) after having the A/C charged. I was told my system was all most full? They then clamped my coolent line to the heatercore and it snowed in the car! He said replace the Heater Control Valve, I did and now I am wondering if it is in line right and has been in the wrong place or wrong direction for years!? It has vacuum I checked! I do get COLD air but not like when the line was clamped! And, no I am not going to take the heater core out of the loop!

    Pictures would help!
