I just have a quick question for you guys. A while back, someone mentioned porting the heads. Is this something that can be done w/o taking it to the shop, and if so, how???? Thanks in advance

yes you can do it your self

all you need to port out a head to the fullest is a old or gaskets (this is called port matching) so you can scribe your lines for the port grinding, let me know if your goint to do this and ill tell you how to do it all the way. like i said you need old or new gaskets don't matter and a air compressor and all the stuff that goes with the die-grinder (bits, oiling tool, etc) once you have all that stuff you can go to work, and you can port more than the heads with the die-grider, you can port the intake and the header flanges.

let me know if your interested, cause im seriously doing my heads, it saves money and you use the tool on other things, but you must be careful doing this
