need 2 know if anybody can spread some light on a subject 4 me what is the best set of headers 2 us on a big block & what size exhaust system 2"-3" what works best and what will hurt u i've heard bigger than 2.5"exhaust can actually hurt ur performance need input??????????????????? thanx tom
I have used almost all the headers ever made for a GS thruout my years and I feel at this time the TA headers small tube or large tube are nice fitting and are good HP makers. If your motor is going to be a 600 hp or more the large tube headers are a must. under that I feel that its a personal preference. (I still like bigger ones myself) As for the exhaust 3inch and an X pipe are a must for any hard charging GS 2.5 inch and the X pipe will work fine for the nearly stock GS with headers. My wifes GS has 2.5 and no X pipe at this time and we have a 12.80 pass in stock manifolds and is a 4100 lb car so I would say that it dont hurt performance.
