Changed my heads today, a job I hate, and found a better way to handle the heads during removal and installation. Took an old rocker shaft, removed the rocker arms and bolted it on the heads to use as a handle. Works great and the heads hang at almost the perfect angle to put them right on. It hangs just past the angle of the block so the head contacts the locator pins and not the gasket, just slide it back and forth a little and up and down a little to get it on the pins and your home free!!
