Driving a long minding my own business not hurting anyone then this guy shows up trying to get me to race form a roll.

He was in a good looking convertable TA about 1969 with his wife.

After a few gooses from the trottle I had enough.

I hear him down-shift but I just flooded it not even down-shifting.

Seeing his head lights getting smaller and knowing he was not going to catch me I let off and watched him fly by me as his head gasket let go.

Being the kind of guy I am, I had to stop and check on him. He oped the hood of his car shaking his head.

Under the hood was a nice looking aluminum headed 455 Pontiac motor.

    Mark one for Buick.

Yes. I think that had a lot to do with it.

I knew that on a 45 MPH roll, it should not break the tire lose.

After I let off at 120 MPH or so, it gave off a big Whoosh by the BOV valve.

When I got out of the car and looked at the rear tires, the side walls had the after wrinkled look to them.
