Anyone done a 4door hardtop to convertible conversion? I just picked up a ragtop needing restoration and wondering if the 4 door hard top chassis I have will roll under the convertible and bolt up.

if you are dealing with 71-76 cars, the electra/wagon wheelbase and body is longer than the verts. both have boxed frames.
also dont put a vert body on a lesabre non-vert frame, it will be floppy and WEAK.
i dont know about other years and dont know what year you are dealing with.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

4dr models always use a longer frame.

    not true.
74-76 (and probably 71-76) buick lesabres have the same wheelbase and length frames... and from looking at the frames on of them, they appear to be the same frame except for the boxing of the convertible frames.

I know the frame length and bolt locations are the same...I am more curious if the 69 frames were reinforced to stiffen the conv.
