Hi hoping someone can help . My 72 skylark has had some one work on the convertible top brackets . They have cut a peice out of the bracket just above the cylinder and have replaced the pivot pins with bolt same on both sides. This car was in an accident on the right side . Would some one have replaced the brackets and had to modify it . it seams to work okay . o No: Thanks Dan
Looks like they do nt havew the correct pivot bolts and the ones they are using hit the bracket . They just cut the bracket to clear the bolt. Expensive shipping but I have a compete top carriage assy in Good shape
Where are you , I'm up in Ontario.Still working on the body and don't need the top yet , and at the rate I'm going it may be a while. Thanks Dan
