Have '69 GS350 with 212...all else stock except Pertronix and Edelbrock 750 carb. I am getting 12-13" vacuum at a 750RPM idle. Is this typical of this cam? I was expecting a little more than this.

I have a stock converter, anyone know the stall speed on a stock piece? Will I gain any performance with a higher stall and if so what stall speed?

How have you set up the timing? I have set to about 10deg initial but don't yet know overall...it is a stock distributer...any advice on modifying curve or what total timing I should have?

12-13 is ok but could possibly get 15"... not much more.

For your timing, have the curve setup so that you install the distributor at 12 initial and get 24' of mechanical advance all in by 2500 rpm. No vac advance period.

That will help ya out a bunch, free horsepower.

I think a 2500 rpm convertor would be just right... If your car is a real 69 GS 350 then you should have 3.23 gears... I'm sure that would work good.
