I been on this board for awhile now and I know there are good people here so , I ask for some prayers. I had to retire early and my was working. The first of the month she fired. She got hurt on the job. The doctor and worker comp. started a fight that took to long. Her 12 weeks of fmla run out and they fired her. She has a mediation hearing coming up on april 6. I want you to pray that the truth and rightousness will prevale. So she can go back to work and end this. We are facing a truly a test of faith.
Leo, you have my support and prayers that this will all turn out in your favor. I was fired from Tyson Foods over a year ago for making my daughter's drug rehab a priority over work. Even though I worked 7 days a week and put in at least ten hours a day, I didn't get to their afternoon meeting (read that bitch session), so they fired me for excessive absenteeism!? 70+ hours a week ain't enough? Know that I am on your side and that I pray for the mediator to see the right in this case!
Leo, Prayers from me too. I work in an environment where management lying is commonplace. So I know what youns are facing.
Thanks I would like to say THANKS ! for all the prayers we received, But I think there is a new road to go down now. She lost her appeal. They did give her a severince package deal. Thanks again Leo455.
unjust employers There are lawyers that specialize in workmens comp claims. I knew that she would lose her appeal, the board ALWAYS takes the employers word over the employees. The appeal is a bad joke. Contact one of the lawyers and talk to him. The initial confrence is FREE. Then if you have a case the lawyer will give you some clout. If the injury was due to the employers negligence, or aggrivated by their negligence, then you have damages coming. Just get in touch with your area bar assoiation, or the closest bar assoiation in a big city near you and they can refer you to the proper atty. You probably just go on line and find one. My goodness you cant sling a cat without hitting a lawyer. :Brow:
