I refrained from the blue sticker comment this time :D

I hope you end up with it. At least we'll know it won't sit in someone's garage.

I'll be happy to remove that blue sticker for you once you take delivery. :D:D

Could this bring $300,000 as estimated?
Is that a non GSX record for a 70?
    Four wheel drum brakes?

It just sold at one auction.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Hammer price was $60k. So with fees the buyer will pay $66k. I've seen this car in person (before the '70 rear bumper was installed) and it's a very nice car and a real '71 Stage 1 convertible. Someone got a real good deal on this one.

Thanks for the update BUQUICK, do you happen to have data on the other "sold" and "the bid goes on" Buicks?

Cannot figure out why in the world they would have removed the N25 and put that 70 bumper on. They sure did not do there self any favor, you know it hurt the $$$.

The yellow car on the surface is a neat looking car but look at the bottom of the doors. Those are full of mud so how bad is the rest of it mudded up. No sale @ $80k

Reserve was 89K. Lotta money for a 350 car. I was willing to go 45K. LOL.
