What's up with the rules? Either I'm dreaming or they have changed. Only one car per GSCA member number? That means my wife and I both have to pay membership fees just race. And why no for sale signs in your car? Does it make the car unsafe? I went to the Nat's in 2000 and haven't been back. Now I know why. They tried to take my Kenne-Bell sticker off my rear window then and I told them if they touched it I would break their arms. I was considering trying again but forget it.
Rules Steve When Renee brought this up before about us racing, they told us that they would just give us a A and B for my car (like it will ever be done) and her car. As far as the for sale signs, never heard about that one.
It's in the general rules this year. I called about the car number and they said EACH car much have it's own member number now.
The exception is a wifes car it will be one membership # with an a or b on the end (or both) They wont make you buy a membership to race 2 cars.
Steve, I'd tell you to check out the thread about this subject on the GSCA board...but.....the board is down still.....imagine that ou:
Are you saying that a GSCA member that owns 2 or more cars must purchase more than one membership to the GSCA or tickets to show or race more than one car???????
Rusty, I was told that if you have more than one car that your significant other did NOT have to purchase a membership. Using my husband and I for an example...he's a GSCA member and I would just use his number--GSCA would modify it so it wasn't the exact same as his. One thing that they did tell me was that if you are bringing more than one car with only one membership you must call the GSCA to get your modified number before you get there. I was also under the impression that this was for spouces or adult children only. Anyone else would have to purchase a separate membership.
