It was great putting faces to names in Bowling green this year. This is the first time I brought a v8 powered Buick to the nats since I drove my 71 skylark back in 97. Some honorable mentions include Gary Steele, Chuck Rosa, Jason Cook, George Dwyer, Paul Massicote, Ethan Mathis, and Brian Young. (Jason and I met before but briefly). Thanks to Jason for the Buick service mats. They looked great in the car. There were a bunch of people I wanted to catch up with, but seems like not enough time in the day. Thanks to Dave Tumas for insisting I brought my X. The car didn’t like the hot weather, so I have some bugs to work out. I’m terrible at taking pics. This was the only one I took of my car in the survivor class. If anybody else took pics of the white X, please feel free to add them. Also managed to miss them handing out awards.
Me and Alan we’re driving the silver car around over to where Fernando was and Todd came running up. It was great to see him talk about the car from back in the day when he built it.
There definitely was not enough time to catch up and meet everyone! I know we missed more people and customers and I bummed about that. Overall, a good show though and some super nice cars in attendance! Thanks to everyone that did get the time to come and check out our display! Maybe see you in 2023!
Nice to meet you Tim and hearing that great story about how you acquired that survivor GSX. Not the best pic but that's what I took. I hope you had fun and will come again.
That's the "problem" with getting to know more & more ppl each year. It snowballs. Back in the 80's/90's we hardly knew anyone exc. whoever we came w/ & some local folks who might also be there.
Sorry, Lon, I knew there was somebody I left out. Great meeting you as well. Thanks guys for all those pics. It was a very memorable day. I don’t even know how, but the car won survivor gold.
