Josh was so kind to take a look at the Jeep my wife was cravin'. He took time to look over the car and test drive it. I received a very detailed report of the good and little bad. We bought it!!! It made her late for work, but she made it legal today !!!! She called me on the way home and exclaimed, "it feels like this is the car I've been NEEDING my whole life!" I knew that would come up! I'm afraid it's mine.:laugh: That's how we set them up when trailers were everywhere. The USPS stopped going to the box on the door. I haven't made a nicer one yet, as I' trying to decide the final look, design and placement. Thanks for asking ..the 65 is down but not out...it ate the intermediate sprag in the turbo 350 last time at the track ....I already have a replacement and the old tranny is out ...hopefully I can get some time tomorrow a.m. and get the new tranny in ... I went ahead and bought a tad looser converter and a tranny cooler too.....so hopefully she will be back on the road very soon. I also got a really nice front bumper for it after all this time and got rid of my spidered -dented one.....Hows your ride ? J
My buick runs like a champ now. I swapped the drive gear off my 455 HEI and put it in the 350. It's still but-ugly black primer with the hideous yellow fender, but I'm too busy driving it to care about making it pretty. -Josh
DRIVE IT BABY!!!!!! My Riv was driven for over a year in old white paint-ya know- "patina look" dings,gouges, flaking, peeling. Now it's all in primer and missing trim. I get soo many comments from folks who have been seeing it for the past few years commenting on the progress. They sometimes are shocked to see the interior completely gone. But the new and refurbed stuff is ready to go in!!!!:beer
