    First, thanks in advance.
So I just acquired some centerline 15 x 3.75 rims and I’m looking for suggestions for front runner tires.
They will see very little street time mainly Track Time. What are you guys running and how happy are you with them I will buy the best option not necessarily concerned about 10 bucks here or 10 bucks there for the cost of the tire.
    Thanks again, Bret

How fast is the car ? The MT sr radial front runners are good looking and safe for higher speeds ..not cheap tho

    Right now I’m running 11.19 at 119
    With full-size street tires.
I’m hoping the skinny’s will shave a little more off

I ran Moroso Drag Fronts on my drag car and like them. They sure were light!

Bret, I run the Hoosier 18107 bias ply tires for the track. They're 28x4.5", weigh ~12 lbs. and I use a 3.5" wheel. I typically get 5-6 seasons out of them running 35-37 psi. For the street and occasionally at the track, I use a 15x6" wheel with a generic brand radial tire in 215/75R15. I like the tall tires for both rollout and they fill the wheelwell not to mention weight carrying capacity for my roughly 2100+ front end weight.

If you just want light weight any race front runners as others suggested will be a good improvement.bias mt ,Hoosier ,Goodyear are very light

I would definitely go with a true front runner,..the standard radials don't have the sidewall support for our heavy stuff,....not very safe,..I've done it B4 but not for long,..the moroso drag special is a good choice as is the pro trac's for a old school look,...MT sportsman are a good choice as well

I myself don't run anything less than 5in on the front,....if something gets out of shape,.. having more than 1in of rubber on the ground is light-years safer and easier to drive out of a situation

I've tried a few...195/80-15 radial, 205/75-15 radial, Moroso drag is my preference especially with slicks on back. You don't want radials on front with bias in rear.
With drag radials on rear I wouldn't do smaller than 185/75-15. 165-15 VW tires are overloaded on our cars....even with lots of air in em....

Thanks again for all your responses.
I currently have 215/70-15’s now on 15x7 centerlines. I have decided to run Hoosier 28’s like Paul C is using. We are several weeks away from a track opening here in New England. But I will post my results when I have them.
Thanks guys have a good one. Bret

You can rub a light coating on Palmolive on the sidewalls to prevent air leaks. Very light coating.

The morosos are great. I had them. Now have Hoosier 28” 15 front runners. I would not go shorter as our cars have nice size wheel wells to fill.

If it were a full time streeter. I’d run Firestone deluxe 7.75 15 from Coker. Had them 10 years and they were great when my car was a streeter.
