My original post is gone (the Put me out of my misery post) but I finally found a daily driver so I can devote some time and PATIENCE to my Regal. It ain't too pretty but it gets me around and gets about 25mpg. MARK
Well, I think so. I haven't driven the car since Sept. 1 so I'm not sure. The "custom" exhaust I had on there before were very badly crimped. I had the owner to the shop redo it with 2 1/2" mandrel bent pipes. When I drove it home from the shop I never got over 185*. It was an hour drive on a road with a lot of hills. I'm thinking the restricted exhaust probably caused the high temps. I opened another thread in the street/strip section on this forum but I haven't checked to see if it's still there or not. My tags expired this month so I dropped the insurance on it so I will just work on it here and there when I get the time. MARK Edit: Here's the other thrread. HERE
Congrats on the daily ride!! Can't beat those old Fords, but you can beat the hell out of them! At least now you no longer have to worry about hauling parts and getting the car dirty.
Please butt in. It looks like his original post is gone as well. Contact mike@mrbuick.com or RACEBUICKS. If all else fails, I have an extra one but I'd like to keep it to put it on my Regal or whatever Buick I'm going to own. MARK
i have a rearend out of a 83 regal with 241's in it. i also have a mini spool for the rearend. it's complete drum to drum and has a aftermarket cover. if interested let me know. Thanks Dustin
I really appreciate it but the 2.41 is what I have in there now. I'm looking for a 3.08 or numerically higher. MARK
