I've got a car with an original vinyl rear seat and it isn't ripped or cracked, but it feels brittle. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good product to re-hydrate the vinyl so it won't be as likely to crack or split?

A chemist once told me that none of vinyl dressings actually hydrate/nourish vinyl. They can and do relax the surface tension, but that is about as far as it goes. Can also provide uv protection. I use 303.

I have always heard that 303 is the best.
