last night me and my freind setyh went to the jurupa valley spectrum which is by my housen and where all the ricers meet on sunday nights anyway i was riding in my freinds 82' Camaro its black with grey pinstripe flames 17in iroc's rear 16 frt and it has an lt-1 out ofa 96' impala anyway we went to pick up one of our other freinds so he can go for a ride in the maro anyway we ended up going to the spectrum and noone was really there so we thought. we end up at the corner and a white honda crx pulls behind us we pull the corner he pases us quick so we follow to a light and this guy was quick really quick i was surprised. so eventually we end up at a light and my freind throws his car in neutral so he can rev a few times the light hits green before my freinds maro has a real chance to get the rpm's down he slams it into drive at 3-4 grand were sitting there peeling out like no tomorow finnaly the tires grab after what seems like forever the ricer got 1 car on us so my freind floors it but the prob is that the tranny doesnt shift right cause it has to be reprogramed so we hit the top of first and its gunning 7 grand holds it about a sec or two so my freind lets off the throttle half way then it shifts then we get past them and were leaving the crx but one prob its holding at 7 grand and it doesnt want to shift into 4th so my freind lets off then we go down the street its not getting out of 3rd so were like oh crap we pull over pop the hood the exhaust manifolds are glowing red so we let the car sit and cool for a while and everything was ok with the car afterward but it was a close one anyway just figured id put something in here oh and earlier on there was some other car we ran but its not worth mentioning cause we left them at the light and i looked out the back window and they turned around the other way it was funny cause they revved at us then again maybe they just wanted to see it take off? to say the least last night was fun :Comp: :beer :Brow:
