Not mine just trying to help. Located Fredericksburg Va. Ask for Fitz . Cell # +1 (540) 270-4565 Also 1969 Buick Sport Wagon 350 it did run but now been setting along time Needs restoration $ 3000.00
Not sure of factory color but nice to see a REASONABLE price instead of 10k or some other distorted pricing. Woyld make a cool cruiser for sure!
I’d like to buy that for my wife. Clean it up, get it running, make it reliable, new tires and drive it.
No haven’t spoken with him about that as I was focused on the GS more but he totally welcomes calls. Wagon look very solid to me though and sure he’d help you out however he could. Very nice guy.
The GS was recently hauled off today by Dano & the 86 GN LeSabre is being parted out. I will try and find more info on the title, rust, options etc on the wagon as I committed to helping before I hit this horrible depression.
I checked out the wagon for a few minutes while I was there. Didn't have much time. Shame it sat at outside for as long as it has but is definitely restorable. 350-4BBL (IIRC 4BBL was std. on a wagon). Not sure if a 9-pass. Some rust but not awful. Not sure on PDB but Car has PW, PDL, tilt, AM/FM (I think) so very nicely optioned - Maybe Sean @Paintworks would be interested in adding some options to the one he's restoring & making 1 good one out of 4 cars.
Trick is going to be straightening out the title work, rust & amount invested in it,but he is a nice guy. Glad you got your 68 GS -400 bench seat non a/c 3:64 posi car for $500 meager bucks,Dano! Glad you texted when you did because I was gutting it for parts if not for you, already had a gentleman’s agreement but yer lucky I like ya heheh That’s Jason deal territory!
Thanks Fritz! I had no idea what was going on behind the scenes. I'd been texting the guy that day. It might work out even better & totally unrelated to the car. I'll explain next time we talk.
10-4 buddy. Yeh between his job and me getting details to post for his ads he was pretty tied up. When he initially thought you weren’t getting it I had negotiated for every GS parts on it till I heard you just couldn’t get through to him. Screaming deal, good job buddy!
Again, thanks!! Initially, I thought you were just posting stuff (cars, parts) to try & help the guy out. He has a ton of stuff to move besides the 3 Buicks. I wish I had it in me to restore this one - Was a super cool car in it's day but is really pretty bad & I already have 2 basket cases that I'll be upside down on...
Yeh, was and still trying to just help him out but when he said it was going unstripped to the scrap yard, there was no way I was letting that happen . At least the parts would carry on ya know? He was also going to make more money between the part prices and of course higher scrap value, BUT with time constraints I advised him he was better selling it all to you. Yeh, definitely a parts car unfortunately though but hopefully will get one of yours going. Without a title, all the rust and locked up motor & all it was a good solution for both of y’all.
