One of the best upgrades I've done to my car was having both buckets redone with new lower springs, foams and covers. It's nice not feeling like you're sitting on the floor when driving.
Ten years ago I would have done this without question. I've tried painting cars, I even upholstered my trunk, I'm game for just about anything. Present day I actually bought the hog rings and watched the video also, but my retirement did not go as planned and had to go back to work. Just not enough time and honestly just tired. Good for you and there is definitely a feel good feeling when you accomplish any type of project.
No worries! I totally understand. I definitely wouldn't do this again down the road. I tweaked my back cleaning up one of the seat frames. Couldn't move for a couple days. If I ever do this again, I'm buying a car already restored and definitely paying someone else if I need seats done again.
