GM Tower Hose Clamps

    Replacing all of my coolant hoses. I want to use the original Tower Clamps keeping everything original. Looking for some ideas to avoid leaks. I have heard some using the Camptite stainless wire first then put the Tower clamps over this. Anyone try this before. Also some sealer may be possible but don't know what sealer to use. I have the clamps and will be ordering the correct hoses. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    I have tower tops all over with no stickem. Work just fine.

    Should seal fine with no goop:D

    I've been using them for years on probably 10 different cars and I've never had one leak

    I've never been that lucky, having several leaks in a few locations...:(
