Can these be installed without removing the coil springs? What I mean is can you simply slide the bags into the springs and connect the hoses? Can each bag be independently filled to a separate air pressure value?

They can be installed without taking out the springs although when you get the car completely jacked up and disconnect the shocks the springs will come out without compressing them if you need to. Without air in the bags you can slip them between the springs. They can be filled individually to allow for different pressures in each one. I routed the air lines up to the rear license plate and had one through each hole that usually has the rubber stopper for the rear license plate on the 1970 GSX.
