The rear and quater panel glass is busted out of my new Regal project. Rather than installing Lexan as my previous plan had called for, I ran up on a 84' Monte Carlo (same year as my Regal) that was headed for the junk yard. The owner said I could have the glass for free if it will work. From the visiting this site the past few days, I learned that the Monte Carlo has the same body type (G-Body) as the Regal. The glass looks promising but I haven't measured it yet. I was wondering if you guys might already know the answer to my question of whether or not the glass will work and save me a days work wrestling the glass out of the Monte and into the Regal. So, will it work?
well i know the qtr glass is different, not sure about the rear but i have my doubts. id drop a note in the parts wanted forum and someone might be able to help you cheap.
You were right about the quarter glass, completely different. However the rear glass is exactly the same, so thats good news. :TU:
