Im planning on installing a high power stereo and amp into my 1956 buick, but i know the generator wont be able to keep up. Can anyone steer me in the right direction where i can find an upgrade for my alternator that will bolt on easy, or have very little modification?

    THanks

    Alternator Question

I would find a way to run a second battery, isolator and a 100 plus amp alternator. AL

I have an after market bracket on my SBC in my GMC pick up that I think Autozone sells. I beilieve you could cut the generator bracket off your motor mount and weld the U shaped piece from alternator kit in its place and use the stock gen adjusting arm? It might be worth looking at?
