can i put a thin coat of sealer around the block to end cap mating surface? (outside edge) some insyructions say to do this thanx
I do.........all it takes is a narrow swipe from edge to edge on each side, smear it with your clean finger. Mine's been that way for years with no ill effects or leaks. :bglasses:
thanks for the help. i just started rebuilding the motor and seem to run into these little quirks with the buick motors. (rear seal for example,bought one for a ford 351)
