I just filled up the gas all the way for the first time, and wouldn't you know it, it has a seep by where the filler neck meet the tank. Guess I won't fill it completely up any more :birthday: Are there replacement filler necks and/or gas tanks for a 1970 skylark? If not, will the neck from a 1970 Chevelle work? I'm sure they are prob. available Also, is there any possibility that this could be causing my vacuum leak/rough idle issue?
Remove the tank and take it to a radiator shop. They will re-solder the joint where it mates to the tank. I do not think it has anything to do with your idle issue.
