I had mine out in 1998 on a thursday, spent one night in hospital. I decided I was going out dancing on Saturday night. I made it about 3 of the 12 miles to the club I was heading and I was sore just driving in a 96 dodge 1500 on the streets. I turned around. Next weekend, I was out there tho.

Give it a couple days, you do not want to be racing this weekend, save it for next weekend. You may not even want to be passenger on a drive to the track this weekend.

Take it easy this weekend, back to 100% by next weekend.

Watch out if you eat a greasy or fat meal. Prime rib, fries, pretty much any fast food, even a cheesey italian meal can give you the "I gotta get to a bathroom NOW" feeling. That improves over time as your body adjusts, but you will always have a reaction to the intake of fat.

All being said, that gall bladder pain is intense, you will be glad it is out now.

Dan I just had mine out about 2 months ago. Incision still healing from drain tube. But all in all was doing fine in a week. Biggest thing you want to do is get off the pain meds. Just watch out for the gas.

Hey Dan, just read this. Give it a little while to heal....your car and the race track will still be there when you return!!

    Take care!!
