I've been by that place a few dozen times in the past 15 years. I have talked to the owner several times,but he would never let me in the place.The father passed away and all of it had been tied up in probate. A lot of bickering between the family members. My dad used to live near the place. Looks like they are finally back open. Lots of oldie cars there. LaGrange used to be loaded with old cars and a lot of Buicks. I used to buy cars from the area years ago,but has kind of dried up. Thanks for catching this.
I just scrolled through the pics and I recognize quite a few that have been through the Atlanta southside Pick A Part. In fact, in the background of some of the pics, you can see the Atlanta landfill mountain. What gives? Atlanta is 80 miles from LaGrange.
I think the guy takes his camera with him everytime he visit the local yards. I noticed the same pick-apart pics from some previous posts here....especially the yellow 70 Skylark conv....I think Ted/Junkman stripped that car.
me too. In fact, I find junkyards more interesting than car shows! Don't get me wrong, I like seeing restored cars too.
