Has anyone done or seen a full wrap on a A Body?
I may have a fiberglass hood for my 70 wrapped this up-coming season, depending upon price . Jim
Paint is still better because it is more permanent.
Bump, how well does it hold up against rock chips?
Ive had my pick up and 2 work vans fully wrapped. If ya keep it out of the sun it will last. Any dings ya get n the car the wrap needs to come off fix the body work and replace that section. For the business spending the 5K per truck was a good investment for advertising. For a personal car or driver Id say not so much. When the pick up goot so beat up it needed to be stripped and fixed we didnt put the wrap back on. working on the Van this week. will be replacing sections after the body work but where it got checked so bad by the sun on the hood and upper areas I had it color matched and painted then will just put vinyl lettering over it
Here's a YouTube video about wrapping an A-body:
A friend of mine has white wrap on the sides of his Beetle after 3 years sitting out and not garaged, the edges are start to slightly peel..It still looks goor from 5-10 ft though..
Briz, you need to be careful posting pictures of penguins-you might trigger another fellow on here!
Ya had totally not taken John into consideration. Thoughtless of me.
I hope he’s ok....if he flips out, there’ll be penguin blood on your hands!!
Patrick, I truly enjoy your ribbing. It puts a big azz smile on my face!
