    Howdy,

A non-Buick buddy of mine got a set of custom disc brakes in trade for some work he did. Best I can figure out it's a 66-70 Riviera and 65-70 Fullsized spindle with a custom mounting bracket that doubles as a backing plate. The calipers are GM D52 single piston iron and the rotors are 71-76 Riviera and 73-87 1/2 ton 2WD truck. Master Power Brakes made these at one point and are offering them on the hush hush for around $1200 now. He's willing to get rid of them for $800 and he lives in the LA area. It's complete with spindle, mounting bracket, caliper, rotor, and even the hoses. The only thing custom is the caliper bracket and I think it's a better design than the scarebird but that's personal opinion.

These could also be used on 63-65 Riviera or 62-64 Fullsized if you got the right steering arms on them (He's pretty sure the Riviera arms are on it already). You'd just have to worry about the larger hub on the 63-64 wheels.
Also now that Wilwood has released their aluminum dual piston D52 replacement, you can trick this setup out with those calipers and have a custom setup complete with the new calipers for less than this would cost new with the iron GM units from MPBrakes.

I think the only problem your buddy is gonna have is the uncertainty of what it truely will fit and the price. Let your buddy know you can get a complete front disc brake set up including booster, prop valve and all lines for about $575. Good luck with the sale.
