  1. Hey guys I have a question. my fuel line is rubbing against the headers in my 455 regal. so I am gonna cut them before they come up in to the engine bay(right around the firewall) and I am gonan run steel braided to my carb and regulator. But I was curious what to use when I Am connecting the AN line to the hard steel fuel line. I was thinking flaring the tube and using an AN tube nut and sleeve. Is this right or am I needing something else?? n e help is appreciated for whoever can help me through this...thanks...Mike

    well...

Not sure what your ultimate goal is but I know most of the AN fitting people make hardline adapters that just work like a compression fitting to the existing steel line.

  3. heard about them

I have heard about them but most of them I have seen were for aluminum hard line .

I used a Russell hard tube adapter on my steel 3/8" stock lines, worked fine, I was told it would work on steel and it did.
Great for tight spaces, remember if you flare for a tube nut, its got to be 37 not 45 deg, 37 deg flare kits are not cheap.

  5. will try that

well I guess I'll try the hard tube adapters. it said for aluminum but I guess I'll try that n e way. My bro in law has the whole tube flaring kit so I'm sure he'd take care of that but I;'ll try the hard adapter first. Thx
