fuel filter location

    On a mechanical fuel pump I hear is a no-no to locate the filter in the rear (sucktion side), causes low fuel pressure? Has anybody experience this before?

    Put it on the pressure side. Near the carb is a good spot, especially since you should inspect the rubber hoses for cracks periodically.

    Mechanical pump

    Any input on what mech. pump to use for the most volume output?
