Not sure what you guys are paying for fuel but just found in a town close by 110 octane fuel for $3.49 a gallon !!! Heck, I am paying $3.30-$3.40 for 92-93. I guess I should have pushed the compression uzzled:
$1.149/litre here today for 87 octane, self-serve. $4.36 Cdn./$3.81 US for a US gallon. Small gas station up river where we keep our trailer. Gas one day was $1.469/litre, or $ 4.88 US for a US gallon. Figured I had enough to get to the next town whereit was only $1.349/litre.
Going down In the $2.70's here right now and they are saying even lower than that as time goes by. Maybe the trip in gas will only cost me $250....better than threefidee... ou: Should have bought the diesel ou:
$2.50 something in some places around here. Kinda makes one wonder how this can be manipulated so quickly. Filled up with Diesel at $2.99 in Farmington yesterday. Wonder what the excuse is there? Heating oil? Still over $3 out hee in Livingston County. Still will never understand why there's no outrage from the people who rely on diesel for a living (truckdrivers). Years back they always were the first to mouth off and even had some big time protests. Didn't they block the Ohio turnpike for a few days one time over this? I think so............ Why so quiet now?
But diesel's still $2.99. What a pain. Think there's some big time lobbying and politics keeping diesels from being too attractive.
it should be darn near free, grubby stinkin' crap With as dirty and unrefined as that stuff is, it should be almost given away :Smarty: Or at least the Diesel Fuel filter people should give something like 5 free gallon's with the purchase of every fuel filter o No:
Funny you should talk about fuel costs ..... We are on the Alaskan Highway right now on our vacation/adventure. Last two tanks of diesel were $4.01/gal. and $4.10-ish/gal. respectively. DAMN expensive !! But we are seeing stuff that makes it ALL worth while. PS - If you are anyone up in these-here-parts, you HotShot or tow your BIG 5th wheel/RV with a Dodge Cummins. If you don't have a Dodge, then you are a rancher or farmer with a HUGE ranch/farm, and have a Ford Powerstroke. If you own a DMax GM, well .... from what I've seen in the last 2000 miles in the Northwest US and Western Provinces of Canada, you tow muddy ATV's. o No: I know for a fact that I've seen more RV's and trailers being towed by 12-valve, First-Gen Dodges than I have seen Duramax's. Pretty interesting ..... OK - back to fuel costs......... :bglasses:
Just hit $2.30 a gallon for 87 octane here in lexington yesterday. Looks good for the trip up there. :TU:
I thought it was good that we got down to $2.95 for the cheap stuff. Gotta love the NY taxes :af: :af: Dan :3gears:
