Does anyone need an aluminum four barrel manifold for an early 300 engine? This one is in terrific condition, came off of a high compression Buick 300 with aluminum heads. I'd like to get $225 for it, but your best offer would probably do fine. I have a few other Buick 300 engine parts left over as well. The pictures tell the story best. Perfect mounting surfaces, clean water jackets. Great condition. Thanks, T
I don't know what that is. Have you a picture or description of it. I'll check down cellar for it, OK? Thanks, TC
Oh . . . like an air cleaner? Yes, I think that I have it, although it may well not be the right one. I just learned what you meant from another on the forum. The one that I have has a large flat piece that sits on the carb and another somewhat tall piece that fits on top and houses the filter element. It has a single snout on it that ends at a turned up lip. I could take some photos of it and post them here. The snout and lip is damaged, but pretty easily straightened out, the rest is OK, no dents but dirty red paint a with some surface rust. Pictures would probably be a good idea, huh? I also have the valve covers, rocker arm assemblies, pulleys, and stock distributor (pretty good condition) from the same engine. Oh, and thanks for the correct terminology, always good to learn something new ! ! TC
Shot s few pics of the "breather housing." I'm pretty sure that it's for the Buick 300, but if I'm wrong, PLEASE tell me. I never straightened it out or refinished it as I have an A35 Austin rat rod Gasser and was going to use it on that car. Plans changed, so now it's for sale, still in the original condition for better or worse . . .
Hi Tommy The top of your air-cleaner is correct for '64. The base looks off to me though. I'm not saying it won't work, it just does not look right/ original to me.(?) Thanks Burt
