  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. Frustrated with Seller 69buickgs400

    I paid him (Matt Wade) over a month ago for a 69 grill surround and he disappeared on me. He came back and said his phone was stolen and he had mailed the part but the PO sent it back because the package got damaged (but the surround was still supposedly OK). Then he said he was going to send it in a couple days. That was August 9th. Since then, not a word or package. I can be patient with someone that is legit going through a hard time, but this is downright disrespectful. I've messaged him here, on Facebook, and on PayPal. Dead silence. Extremely frustrated as this is the first negative buy/sell experience I've had on the forum and he's a well known member.

    Sorry to hear this I’ve had good experience buying and selling here on the board, but recently the integrity of some members has gone out the window. Hopefully you will be able to get it resolved.

    I used Friends and Family. I actually bought something from him before and he annoyingly took two weeks to ship but I got it. I checked his profile and all that and never had a problem with anyone on this site so I was a fool I guess.

    I buy and sell on eBay and wouldn’t use F&F nor expect anyone with me. Lesson learned.

    We are farther ahead to pay them the extra 3 - 4 % to cover the Paypal fees than to use family & friends. That way, if there is a problem, we can use Paypal for any disputes. :(

    Yeah, I understand. I’ve used PayPal a bunch on eBay back when that was the method, and I use it for Gunbroker. Like I said, I bought from him before and checked his background/activity on this site. Learned my lesson and foolish maybe, but regardless this is still on him.

    I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he has a health or family emergency. Jim said he was going to lock him out of posting more ads. If he comes back that is.
