Front wheel nut torque spec

    just changed everything on the front drum brakes and I need to know how tight the nut that preloads the bearings and holds the drum on is suppose to be, thanks

    After ya get your nuts off ..

    "Snug " the nut and then loosen to the next Key slot . Then insert the cotter key and spread and bend to hold the assembly . :grin: :TU:

    PS , Please no comments about spread and bend ! :moonu: :Brow:

    I believe the chassis manual says spin the drum while torquing to 11 Ft Lbs, to set the bearings, then back off to the first hole in the spindle and then do what Bruce said with the cotter pin.

    haha, thanks a lot now I just have to do the rears
