I’m trying to remove the right turn signal assembly from a 1969 Skylark. Any advice on removing it from the bumper? I took out the head bezel and bulbs but I’m still having trouble negotiating it out. Does the bumper have to be partially removed?
    Thanks !!

I had to remove the bracket from the back side to get mine out, and it still took some maneuvering, easier to get back in though

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

    Same on the '68.

I think some engineer named Rubik Tetris designed them...

I removed the screws securing the light assembly, then removed the lens, and it will come out/go in easier, then put the lens back on and re-secure.

Thanks guys. I removed the lens also and got it out (with a lot of trouble) a couple of weeks ago. Cleaned it up, changed the bulb and put it back in (with a lot of trouble). I need to take it out again because I forgot something to do and it’s not coming out! So frustrating. I just didn’t know if it’s just me or I was missing something so obvious.
