Had some fun yesterday evening. .....talking to my next door neighbor who said > that the Mustang guy down the street just spent $1000 on the motor. That motor is still in the SunCoupe and now it's 37 yrs old! Now it's back to 2.56 gears (from 3.90), power steering....running 12.80s.
I love it when a plan comes together . I have been asked by several friends why I built a Buick . We Buick owners know and that goes without saying .
When I was "active" I got the same questions all the time. It was either, "what IS that thing" or "where'd you hide the nitrous?" I'd open the hood and show them the a/c hooked up with belt, etc. One guy admitted that he'd heard stories about Stage 1's back in the '70's, but had never raced one.....I retired it, unbeaten:TU: Dan
