Just found a nice 1970 2 dr Wildcat with lots of nice parts locally. It's got all 4 wheel opening mouldings, side trim a great black dash pad intact no cracks, some rocker trim. Gonna pull the front bumper too. It's a nice driver condition bumper, straight good grill, etc. No engine or trans. What's the front bumper worth?
I will get out to the car some time this week. It looks to have lots of good trim. Rear 1/4's are shot. No engine or trans. How do the side mouldings attach? Are the clips easy to pop off w/o breaking them? Car is white on white with a black vinyl top. Was a really nice one when new. White seats are still in the car, fronts are pretty shot though. Dash pad mint, not cracked either. How hard is the dash pad to remove? Send me an email address and I can shoot you the only pic I currently have. Will get more later this week if possible.
Car was real nice when new!!!!!! White on white leather seats! Rear white leather seat is almost perfect (only saw 1 small pull) needs cleaned, has speaker grill, front will be real nice with minor repairs needed. Black dash pad perfect. Front bumper nice driver quality yard removing both the bumper w/emblem) and seats for me. Took all the side trim off today, almost complete needs cleaned. Pulled 2 factory door edge guards, real nice. Has black rubber mostly intact in the trim. Pulled door trim, arm rests (Passenger great), driver needs white redone. Pulled all 4 wheel opening mouldings (passenger rear has small dinged area) couple extra holes appear drilled, very usable, door cat emblems with pins intact and inside door trim intact with pins. Much more to pull. Kick panels w/black carpet look pretty good.

I'm interested in the small chrome trim between the front bumper & front wheel well. Its held on by some small pins and a pain to remove and a headlight switch. Thank you Bill White
I know the trim you want is there. How do you access the pins, from under the car? Headlight switch is there, not sure how good though. I can remove that once I remove the nice black dash pad. Have you ever taken a Wildcat dash pad off? Any hints are helpful.
Instrument cluster must be removed first, three screws on top (straight up), than ash tray and heated control assembly from behind (its been a while) disconnect wires, harness, radio, speedo cable etc and cluster can be removed. Dash pad may have a bolt underside of top, but most are on bottom, with the top snapping in. Chrome on bottom of front fenders is held on by four small 3/8 speed nuts.
Will be going back as soon as possible for the seats, front bumper, interior parts and Marauders 2 small front fender chrome peices. Phil needs some misc small stuff too. Gotta work it in around my work schedule. I'll let you all know as soon as I can get the parts.
Those chrome pieces will be a big help. I should add that the front bumper emblem is hard to find. When I restored my 70 Wildcat Convertible I welded up the holes in the bumper, I should say I had the chrome plater (Sandy's in Syracuse) weld up the holes and recesses, so that the bumper looks like they never existed. How much for the front bumper, with the emblem attached? Also, how is the rear bumper? Is the underhood wiring in good condition (not hacked up)? Thanks! Paul
Pm me with your email address and I will send you pictures of the bumper and the hood emblem. The hood emblem was repaired on the back. The owner either epoxied or JB welded the mounting bracket to the rear of the emblem. I never noticed as a matter of fact. The bumper is driver quality or a great core for a rechrome.
