I got rid of the 350 valve covers. Yes, really. I've already got an extra set and didn't another When I say I cleaned house, I cleaned house. No more extra junk or parts to get in my way anymore. At least for a 350.

I checked on shipping the gun before (remember, we talked about it) and no way to ship it without having a license/permit or whatever. If you can find a legal way to ship it, let me know. Plus, if you never had it registered, the gun shops said that can be a problem.

Ok, so I usually don't post on threads like this but would like to ask you something Dee. Why do you feel as though you have to 'give up your freedom' in a relationship? A good relationship shouldn't be about giving up ANYTHING, it adds to the lives of the 2 people involved. IMO, stop 'looking' and something will fall in your lap but remember that nobody is perfect, not you, me nor anyone else so every relationship will have issues, flaws, etc. Nobody should settle for 'whatever happens to be around at the time' but it happens and hopefully everyone does it once in their life and learns from it. We choose our own path in life and if mistakes are made, it's not anybody's fault but our own. True happiness does happen in life but patience is the key to discovering it :TU:
    How 'bout them Steerlers

I haven't found the right relationship yet, that's the reason why I have issues about my freedom. Now I'm waiting for the right one and not just settling for anyone that might show interest. I've made several "mistakes" in the past, but I know I'll find someone that meets my qualifications sometime in my lifetime. I might not find him right now, but he'll be worth the wait. In the mean time, I'm enjoying all the new people and their company as they come into my life.

    How 'bout Da 'boys!!!

PS Does your man have any brothers???? :Dou:  Congratulations on finding "the one" for you!!!! Lucky duck (not what I wanted to say but this is a family forum)!!!! :beer :beer :beer

Hey, Dee - I really think it's time to change our focus. We're on what, page 8 bazillion of the thread and it doesn't look like we're any closer than when we started.

We could have found Bigfoot, cracked the secrets of Area 51 and created a few crop circles by now. Let's move on to the 'solveable' Urban Myths. The actually available, decent, recommendable man over 30 is surely just a figment of someone's imagination. I'm sick of hearing "None that I would recommend" in response to my question "Do you know any single guys over 30?" :blast:

Just remember, when you're least expecting it, and that knight in shining armor rides up to save you - take his hand, smile  , yank his :moonu: off the horse and ride away!

Yep, I agree. :TU: But ain't it fun talking it to death!

I changed my question to "Do you know any single, sane, financially independent, attractive, gainfully employed, sweet, gentle, good hearted, good 'you know where", blah, blah, blah, men over 30, with no kids, that are not gay?"

The last knight in shining armor ran me over with his horse and didn't even say sorry!!! :af:

I actually think I'd rather have the horse anyway!!!! :Dou:

    A Woman's Poem....

    A Woman's Poem

    He didn't like the casserole

And he didn't like my cake.

    My biscuits were too hard...

Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't perk the coffee right

    He didn't like the stew,

    I didn't mend his socks

The way his mother used to do..

    I pondered for an answer

I was looking for a clue.

Then I turned around and smacked him...

Like his Mother used to do.
