I'm building a 65 buick 300 with a t-5 , 5-speed trans. And I have a question about what flywheel and clutch i should use, whats interchangeable what years will fit? Thanks Bob.
I used a later 350 flywheel on my 66 300. Dimensions are the same, and the weight pocket is in the same place as the 300 flywheel. The 300 flywheels do have holes drilled around the OD. I suspect they are to insert pegs to fine-tune the balance....or for a place for mud daubers to build nests and balance it for you! I went with a Centerforce clutch setup for a 350. Works great!
