floor shifter conversion?

    72 pet chicken i dont wanna be a pirate!

    i have a 1972 buick skylark 350 with an automatic, colum shift. is there any kits out there to convert it into a floor shift? other then getting a new trans??:Do No:

    You dont have to get a different transmission, basically all you need is the floor shifter and console, or just a B&M unit, cut the hole in the floor for the shift cable, connect it to the trans, adjust the shift cable and thats it, later you can find a different column that does not have the gear selector on it and swap it out, remember you have to do something with the neutral safety switch. :grin:
