Closing down an old thread. Sold all the Buicks except for the 1970 GS Stage1. It took years to do. Plan to keep I the Stage1 for now. Would sell the Bentley though.

Was just fishing around to see where the red 68GS400 4spd is these days. Haven't found it yet but I will. Just wondering how it's doing. I can never seem to get them out of my system. It's like giving kids up for adoption and hoping they are okay in their new homes.

I wonder what happened to these cars. I don't want to buy any of them back, but hope that they are still being enjoyed.

Still have the 1970 GS Stage1.

Dang, Mike, you had a sweet collection and let them go for some real good prices. Especially the '70 GSX and GSX clone, very nice. Glad you were able to sell them all but keep one.

I'm not sure about again. I thought it came originally from South Carolina, Georgia, someplace around there. Bought by a Chevy guy that went through it and resprayed it after 35 years in the garage with 18k or 20k miles on it or something like that to flip it quick and I got it. The guy that bought it new died young about and 1970, his wife couldn't drive a stick shift, didn't want to sell it in his honor so it sat in the garage for about 35 years. Almost like new inside and out. Each of the cars have a great story. The GS Stage1 that I still have I bought on eBay from a car collector in Yokohama Japan and reimported it back to the USA. I bet nobody else here has done that.

Lil red was orig West Virginia car. When I had it after the guy you sold it to in Canada it had about 16 k miles I think I sold it around 19 k miles. After I had it at one point the grandson of the orig owner got a hold of me and was inquiring about it.

I know the 87 GN is in your home state, well cared for and driven once in a while.

Are we all sure of Lil' Red? I could've sworn it was owned by Dan Drake in Massachusetts at some point?

Seems like there may have been some mass paperwork like old registration when I had it now that you mention it
I know I never heard the complete story before Mike owned it just bits and pieces of the history.

I think he bought it from the West Virginia owner, and then offered it for sale here on v8buick.
