It was last Sunday afternoon, I took the wife for a cruise and lunch in the GS. We had a nice lunch and we were returning home on a four lane highway through town. Traffic was light and I was cruising at 55mph in the right lane enjoying the drive. I suddenly hear a loud exhaust to my left and here is an Eclipse revving his fart can next to me. It was actually a nice looking car all blacked out with the usual assortment of gauges on the A pillar. There was a car in front of me so I moved to the right lane behind him and he passed the car in the left lane and moved over, I caught up to him and we slowed to 50mph I heard him get on the gas so I downshifted to third and floored it, I jumped out to four lengths and then hit fourth for only a few seconds as I was approaching 90mph so I backed off and slowed to 60. He caught up to me, and saluted with a big smile before turning off on the next exit!! He lost big time but he had enough class to acknowledge it!:TU: I looked at my wife who looked scared but after calming down she nervously smiled and said "WOW" your car is fast!!! I smiled back and said "yes it is":3gears: This made my day!
Muscle 1, Rice 0 :beers2: LOL Cool that he acknowledged. I was expecting another flyby story. Your numbers look very similar to my build. I hope to dip into the 12's with some gears and a posi. I'm running a stock intake.
Obviously a mature Ricer and a good sport. A young one would of done the typical high speed flyby and one finger salute. Good job. :TU: John B.
