Finished the Wilwood front disc conversion on my 68 Skylark Custom!

    Honestly I thought the same way but when I called wilwood they told me to go off of the directions and use the brackets this way. I am going to try to switch them once I get a chance to. I can't believe that it would be worse.

    I'm sure Wilwood is just covering their butts. Liability and all that. They can't be recommending to customers to go against the directions. To me, there's less stuff to hit on the back of the wheel than the front where the steering and sway bar links are.

    Agreed...I will give it a try. My sway bar is off the car but regardless I want it to look right and stop right.
