    Ok Here goes the #'s are as follows
    ST 44667FL1 242351 Body
    TR 198-B Paint J-7
    E2LF 4 FG5KY
    This is what is on the trim tag. Where can I go to look this stuff up or does any know what these numbers are?

    ST 44667FL1 242351 Body
    ST 4 = Buick
    46 = Gran Sport 400
    67 = 2dr convertible
    FL1 = Flint, MI
    242351 Body = sequential body #

    TR 198-B = Black vinyl interior, 'B' unknown
    Paint J-7 = Verde Green paint, my book doesn't code the vert top for 67 but in 1970 the '7' would have been Dark Gold

    E2LF 4 FG5KY = option codes, i don't have, sorry

    Joe, If you can't find it out on here it is truly lost. Lots of 67 owners on here. Someone on here knows this info I'm sure and just hasn't seen the post yet. Nice thing about us Buick guys is we enjoy helping other Buick (et al) guys out.

    I have some Buick info on the vehicle data plate portion of the Protecto-O-Plate for '65, '66, and '67 '68 models, but you must have the P-O-P booklet with the plates, and other reference material to decipher the info. :TU:

    This P-O-P vehicle data plate contains the following:
    Engine Prod. Code No.
    Trans. Prod. Code No.
    Paint Code No.
    Trim Code No.
    Body No. ('65 only)
    Vehicle I.D. No.
    Month Built Code
    Option Codes

    Hey Joe --

    George just helped me decode my convert top color on my '67 GS. He says that the 7 decodes to ivory. See my post under The Ragtop Shop. Sorry, don't know how to link it. :Dou:

    Joe,
    For the option codes check The "Paper Trail" forum. There is quite a bit of discussion on it.
