I used 1/4" ABS. Whole thing looks 100 times better in person BTW.

I'll have to snap a picture of the gauges with respect to the the whole interior to get the full effect of how good they look.

...now what about some signal lights? They're really easy to add, just wire `em in straight from the harness. A couple LEDS work great...

Wow, that looks really nice, just wondering about the fuel gauge and which sender you used there?, also the speedometer calibration?
    thanks Jon

Looks awesome dude!!! Do you have the speedo working yet? If so how does the calibration work? I was thinking of using the same speedo . Could be handy to get the speedo working right with the 3:90 rear end? I already have all the gauges to match but I was going to put them in the console.

I picked out Dan's gauges so perhaps I can field these questions...

As far as the fuel gauge goes, its the 0 ohm empty/ 90 ohm full which is most GM products '65 and up. Reads accurate as far as we can tell but its not on the road so long term accuracy "to be determined".

I'm sure the speedometer will be way off when he gets it on the road, but its a 10 minutes / couple of dollar fix as soon as we figure out the amount of correction needed.

Would you be interested in making a ABS plate like that for me? :beer
