Those of you with fiberglass hoods on a '70-'72 Skylark please post pics of them. I want one but am undecided on going with a cowl induction or a flat hood with a stage 2 scoop. Who makes the best hoods for our cars? Thanks for your help.

    Cowl Hood

I have a 4" cowl hood from VFN. They did an excellent job. This is the second hood I got from them the first was a bolt-on 3" cowl and now I have a pin-on 4" cowl. The 4" cost $437 + shipping. The bolt-on 3" cost me $549 + shipping. It takes about 5 weeks for them to make it and ship it out. Shipping cost me about $65-75. There # is

Do you have any pictures of the hood on your car that you can post here? Thanks.

    Cowl Height

VFN sells 2" and 4" cowls and will install them at any height you want.

    Ken,

I bought all the body panels for my regal from VFN and was very happy with the quality and workmanship. Packaged well, shipped in a reasonable amount of time, just an overall good experience. If I had to do it again I'd buy from them in a minute. Tom's Glasstech hood looks great to. Awesome looking car too I might add.

    Sorry no pics ,but...

I do have to say my Glasstek is a great piece...my trim piece fit just right off my stock GS hood(72),it fits very well for pin on,the scoop(4" cowl ind.) is molded on like it was factory and it survived a triple back flip with a perfect landing at Bowling Green (NSCA). Fish

Mine is a US Bodysource 3 1/2 bolt on, but the previous owner made it pin on. Fit is good. After this weekend, there will be VFN glass doors, fenders as well as a pin on decklid attached to it.If I can get the 70 glass bumpers sold I want to go 71's,but if I can't it will be a 70...
