Just think what will happen with Aluminum Heads and Singleplane Intake. C'mon TA hurry it up already we have records to break.:TU: I ran 12.01@110 1.64 60ft at Buick Nats in Norwalk June 3rd. Slightly detuned from my best.
Well at least we have aluminum heads in the work, I expect the title holder of the fastest Buick 350 to switch hands a couple times in the near future once people can get their hands on a pair...:TU:
It's been a while since I saw this thread... Since my post in 02, we've gotten a little quicker. Our best has been 11.45 at 115 mph.. This was during a great air day but we still had the car in "bracket mode". Generally we can pick up about two tenths + in all out mode. Lite weight oil and only 2.5 qts., get car to minimum weight for the class, more air in rear tires, etc.. I see that this car is running real well. Lee Zane -Driver Barry Johnson -Owner you say I got quicker. Is this your car? Are you the reason I just got a 6 hourse power adjustment to "My" car? Dan Wilson 3171 K/SA Thanks once again.
WEll, this seems a good place to ask this... What does it take to push a 350 into the twelves, but still with a stock look to the exterior(body) and interior?
A little head porting and a 150 shot of nitrous would get you in the twelves while using a streetable cam.
Wow. I didnt know that. I actually thought it took quite a bit more... and I'm very glad it doesn't. Sorry for the Hijack guys!
Nick is running high 12's with stock cam and nitrous: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=129066&highlight=350+run+13s
