well let see its been sitting in the desert for probably 20+ years, I guess someone thought it didn't need glass. :puzzled: do you want pics just to look or are you seriously interested. remember this car needs full resto but has no rust.

How much work to get it mobile and running again would you think? Tires, Glass, pedals and a fluid fill or do you think she'll need a rebuild on the driveline?

well i just put tires on it so thats covered you would need brake and clutch assy. any A body will work and as far as fluids etc. this car has been sitting for probably about 20 years or more in the california desert, I have bought buicks with nailheads that have been sitting forever and fired right up but i would say rebuild. the trans is done just need the shifter and linkage other than that the rest would need to be restored to look good again. this is a restoration car i don't want you to think you will have this running in a weekend. but out of 3077 4spd's im sure there are not alot left.

Mike, I just linked to the page. If you are in the "reply to thread" window ( the one that you are in when you type a message), you will see a bunch of little buttons, like "B" "I" "U", etc. There is one that looks like a globe with a paperclip at the bottom. Here is how you do a link.

Open up two internet explorer windows. The first should be v8buick, and you should be in this "reply to thread" box, typing a reply to a message. The second should be the page you want to link to (in this case, your ebay ad). At the top of the second page, should be a "address" line (reads something like http://www.ebaymotors.....). Click on that, and it should highlight the entire address (or just manually highlight the entire address). Then, on your keyboard, press the keys "CTRL" and "C" at the same time (this is the "Copy" command, or if you are more comfortable with drop down windows, use the "Edit" menu and select "Copy"). Once you have copied the website address, go back to the v8Buick page.

Click on the "globe/paperclip" button. Then, when the little window opens up, click "OK" once. After you do that, you should see "http://" in a open space. Put your cursor in the open space, and highlight the "http://", then hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and press the "v" key at the same time (Paste command, or use the edit dropdown menu and select paste). This should paste the ebay address in this window. Then press "ok" again, this should close the window, and insert this information into your "rely to thread" that you are typing. If you are done typing, click "submit reply" and you should be done!

I've got a set of pedals for it if anybody is grabbing the car :Brow: Is the rest of the linkage there still?

yes the linkage is there to the bell housing, It appears that when the 4spd was removed they swiped the pedals also probably for a conversion in an automatic car. thanks for the post, what would you want for them outright? just incase as if this doesn't go soon I may be forced to restore it myself :Brow:

I want it bad, but I have so much on my plate already, I like running cars as that way I can enjoy them while I fix them up slowly. How much would the full glass run to replace? I'd be willing to bet the front and back are reproduced but the side glass woulc have to be scavenged. Ted also just lives down the road from me.... Ted, could you store it for me maybe.... :Brow:

ive had a couple of quotes for all of the glass for 300-350 used. let me know as i also have a buy it now on ebay as i have been getting emails all day the last couple of days. also if you do buy it i can hold the car for a bit within reason so you can arrange shipping/storage.

Oye.... well I looked at the pictures and its solid but too far past where I think I could put her back together on a reasonable time and budget. Good luck selling her and I hope someone picks her up and does justice not adds some 24's and a metal flake paint job.
