a company called pypes exhaust manufactures 3" systems for G-bodies--I think their website is pypesexhaust.com but you might have to google it
I have a brother who has a friend who owns a small town muffler shop. They did it for me but mine are 2 1/2. Some other shops around town said they cold do the work "after hours".
I have 3inch on my 79 out the back with a x pipe if you want pics let me know had it put on at local shop for cash :Brow:
shops around here say they cannot bend 3 inch pipe to fit under my car. tork tech site won't work on my comp. keeps locking up. i suppose i could just put turn downs on the back of the mufflers or 45 out the side of the car. i sure wanted 3 inch pipes turned out behind the rear wheels. thanks for your help any way.
exhaust I have a tourqe tech 3" exhaust w/xpipe on my 84 regal i purchased it then went to a exhaust shop and they installed it and welded the peices together for a good seal its a little pricey but it was worth it. TA is also selling a 3"exhaust for regals.
i checked with pypesexhaust and they don't have 3 inch tailpipes yet but are working them and they said will be $200 when complete. think i will wait on them cause all i need are the tail pipes. just to get me over the hump.
Hi Guys, I personally went with Torque Tech...GREAT fitting tubes.:TU: Mine are 3 1/2" "X-pipe" to 3" GN "behind-the-wheels" style on my '86 (in sig. below). Here is the website link directly to the GM Tail Pipe Kits.... http://www.torquetechexh.com/gmtailpipekits.htm Hope this helps...
